About me

About me

I am a creative and accomplished UX and UI professional with a wide range of skills. I enjoy being challenged, easily adapt to a variety of design styles, work well individually and in collaboration with others, and make positive contributions to the workplace through the strength of my work, creative input and personality. I specialize in Low Fidelity and High Fidelity designs, and I mostly focus on simplicity, ergonomics, responsive design.

What led you into design/development?

My favorite part of my school days was the painting and drawing contests because sometimes my name would appear first on the lists. When my favorite teacher told me that I drew and painted well, I realized my ability.

So, I signed up for higher studies. After I got my graduation certificate, my next goal was a job. Someone I consider my brother suggested that I could take a multimedia course, so I did and that helped me reach my goal.

After the course, I joined a company as a graphic designer. Then I went on to become a web designer at a start-up company. I had to work hard to overcome the challenges of web design. At that point I asked myself, “Why can’t you be a UX designer?”, there are so many possibilities in UX. So, I browsed the internet to achieve my goal and I did it. I am thrilled to be a UX designer.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I am not an early riser, but I can get up as early as I need to. I usually wake up at 6:00 AM but set my alarm at 7 and go back to bed (The feeling of having a nap is great). I wake up, have a half bottle of water, and stay in bed for 30 minutes. After that, everything goes extremely fast.

I feed my fish (that I use for decoration purposes) and then spend some time in a small garden that I have. Next, now that I am at home, I eat for breakfast the tasty homemade food that my mother cooks. Then, I start working or having meetings.

Usually, I take a 30 min lunch break at 1:30 while looking at social media and listening to music.  Around 6 o’clock, after work, I eat something light and normally go out with my friends or my wife. Many days I have meetings at night, so I come back home sooner to take the calls.

What music do you listen to while working?

I love music, so I listen to all kinds, in any language, if it’s super; but mostly I prefer melodious songs.

If I feel stressed because of work or for any other reason, I prefer meditation music, to relax. Here are some examples I listen to: Amazon Music “Mystical River, Healing Meditation, Rainbow Trips, Stress Relief”.
